Obituary

Funeral service for Wayne Rodgers, 69, will be Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Keith Prince officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.  Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.  

Mr. Rodgers died on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Huntsville Hospital.  He was born Friday, November 16, 1951, in Limestone County to JM Rodgers and Florissa Ruth Payne Rodgers, who preceded him in death.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed his time fishing, on his boat, and spoiling his grandbabies. He was a friend to everyone and will be missed dearly. Family and friends will remember him by his contagious laugh, his smile and how he was there for everyone.

Daughter - Stacey Roberts (Jeremy)

Sister - Deborah Shafer (Dan)

Grandchildren - Logan Rodgers,
                               Raven Rodgers,
                               Blake Burnett (Skyla),
                               McKenzie Pilgrim (Garrett) and 
                               Jaylyn Grissom

Great Grandchildren - Blakely Burnett and 
                                           Natalie Burnett
 
Pallbearers will be Logan Rodgers, Jeremy Roberts, Garrett Pilgrim, Tim Phillips, Blake Burnett and Jaylyn Grissom.
