Obituary

Craig Garrett of Hartselle, AL, 68, passed away on March 24, 2021. He was born November 10, 1952 to Bill and Phyllis Joann Garrett in Clovis, New Mexico. He was a long time member of West Hartselle Baptist Church where he served in the choir and led in many capacities while serving the Lord. He was co-owner of Garrett Erectors Incorporated with his dad, Bill, for over 30 years. He worked very hard in the construction industry through extreme conditions to support his family and prided himself in the quality of work performed. He was a 1971 graduate of Morgan County High School where he met his high school sweetheart, Myra Howard, was a beloved classmate and his passion for Hartselle football began.

Craig took genuine interest in others - - family, friends and everyone he met. He was a member of Alabama Baptist Disaster Relief and with a big heart served anyone in need. He dearly loved going to church, enjoyed spending time at the lake, and coveted time with his family. Craig simply loved people and it was impossible not to love him back.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
