Robbyn (Brewer) Cartee

Funeral service for Robbyn Brewer Cartee, 73, will be Friday, September 22, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Cedar Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Cliff Tomlinson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Her body will lie in state for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Cedar Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.  

Mrs. Cartee died on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Athens Convalescent Center.  She was born Sunday, April 9, 1950, in Morgan County to Robert Sanders Brewer and Emma Brown Brewer.  She was employed as a cosmotologist and a Certified Nursing Assistant for 30 Plus years. She was a very loving person to everyone but especially loved her family and adored her grandchildren. She loved to travel and enjoyed going out to eat from the coast to the mountains. Preceding her in death were her husband: Gary Cartee, a daughter: Erica Nicole Cartee Allen and her parents. 

Survivors include   

Daughter - Heather Cartee Haggermaker (Stanley)

Son-in-law - Jason Allen

Grandchildren - Cody, Dennis, Grant and Emilee Haggermaker

Great Grandchild - Hendrix Haggermaker

Brother-in-law - Bill L. Cartee

Many aunts, uncles, and cousins on the Brewer and Brown sides.

Pallbearers will be family and friends, Charlie Brown, David Cordes, Robert Turner, Tony Cobb and Brandon Bledsoe.
