Obituary
A Memorial Funeral Service for Johnny Sinclair, 93, will be Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Bro. Spencer Bell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Mr. Sinclair died on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born February 4, 1930, in The Plains, Virginia, to Joseph Sherdin Sinclair and Susie Virginia Courtney Sinclair.
He was a truck driver for German Military as a Representative for Dules Airport, prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Sinclair was a busy man and loved to work. He loved his neighbors, never met a stranger, enjoyed talking with people and drinking coffee with friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother: Evan Sinclair.

Wife of 54 years - Shirley Martin Sinclair
Sister - Katherine Haines
Sister-in-laws - Ann Ricketts and Bonnie Higdon (Jack)
Brothers-in-law - Tony Martin (Debbie), Jerry Martin and Donald Martin.
