Funeral service for Doris Henderson, 86, will be Monday, May 15, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Center Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, May 15, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Henderson died on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. She was born April 22, 1937, in Blount County, to William and Ruth May Dollar Gilland. She was a homemaker for her family, whom she loved dearly, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, reading, gardening and canning. She loved her Church and her red truck. She was a member of the Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church. Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her parents and two children: Dwight Henderson and Jesse Henderson.
