Charlotte Ann (Chunn) Fells

Charlotte Ann Chunn Fells, 70,  passed away at her residence on Sunday, November 19, 2023.  She was born  April 17, 1953, in Decatur, Alabama, to Herbert Lewis Chunn, Sr. and Minnie Ellen Duncan Chunn.  

Charlotte attended Calhoun Community College and began a career in Nursing as an LPN around 1975. She loved being a nurse and specialized in ICU work. She had a long career and spent most of it as a contract nurse which allowed her to move around and work in many different hospitals. She loved to travel and adventure. She worked at hospitals in Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, and Texas. She returned to live near her siblings in 2006. Her health deteriorated due to COPD after she moved back to Alabama. 

She lived a colorful life on her terms and offered no excuses. She was a great nurse, but not a good patient. Her siblings and nephews did all she would allow to take care of her until the end. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed by her family. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Herbert L. Chunn, Jr.

Sisters - Elizabeth "Libby" Kimbrell

                  (very Special Sister) Elisa Jo Chunn
