Obituary

A Graveside Memorial service and Interment for Charles "Charlie" Owen Parker, 82, will be Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Forrest Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Floyd Bradford officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No visitation is scheduled. 

Mr. Parker died on Friday, May 6, 2022 at his residence. He was born September 5, 1939, in Morgan County to Grady Parker and Fannie Owens Parker. 

He was employed as a truck driver for Jim Dandy, prior to his retirement. He was a proud father, grandfather, son, brother, and retired veteran of the Army National Guard.  He loved being on his tractor, spending time with his family, and gathering with his friends.  Preceding him in death were his parents. brothers: Walter, Edward and Billy Parker and sister: Margaret Wilbanks.

In lieu of flowers: family requests that memorial donations be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
