Mr. William D. Simon, 87, of Danville, passed away Sunday morning, May 31, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born November 25, 1938, in West Virginia, to Robert Melvin Simon and Doris Elizabeth Rexroad Simon. He was preceded in death by his parents and Wife, Lucille Robinson Simon

Mr. Simon was employed by and retired from General Motors – Saginaw after many years. He was a United States Army Veteran and Master Mason. He was very proud to receive his 50-year service award.

He is Survived by:

Daughters: Tina Simon and Lisa Grant (Kim)

Brother: Larry Simon (Gina)

Sister: Sondra Qualey (Skip)

Four Sister-in-laws: Joann, Fayetta, Loretta and Doris

Two Grandchildren: Adam Cochrane (Kristyn) and Allisha Cochrane

Two Great Grandchildren: Eli Cochrane and Ainsley Cochrane

Many nephews and nieces.
