William "Bill" Garlen died on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at his residence.  He was born August 17, 1945, in Morgan County,  to Ezra Garlen and Hettie Leona Reynolds.

He was employed as a Truck Driver, prior to his retirement. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Preceding him in death were his parents, sisters- Rachel Garlen Brown, and Jane Garlen Squires, and a grandson - Aaron Garlen.

Survivors include:

his Wife - Shirley Stephenson Garlen,

Son - Kenny Garlen (Nichole),

Daughter - Julie Garlen Morgan (Rodney),

Four Grandchildren  and

Six Great Grandchildren
