A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Wesley Dean Tankersley, 45, will be Monday, May 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Hartselle City Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. No public visitation is scheduled.

Mr. Tankersley passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Huntsville Hospital.  He was born September 22, 1980, in Morgan County, to Joe Ed and Becky Prince Tankersley.

He was employed by First Solar working in maintenance, prior to his passing.  He loved to hunt, enjoyed working his cattle and riding horses. He enjoyed working, traveling and putting up signs.

Family requests make memorial contributions to the Shining Stars Organization, in lieu of flowers.

Son - Elijah Dean Tankersley (Kaleen),

Parents - Joe Ed and Becky Prince Tankersley,

Sister - Kristen Tankersley Garner (Cory),

Nephews - Dalton and Dylan Green,

Niece - Eliza Jane Green,

Pallbearers will be Dalton Green, Dylan Green, Joe Ed Tankersley, Elijah Tankersley, Landon Garner, and Cory Garner.
