Funeral Service for Wenceslao Arroyo, 19, of Hartselle, AL will be Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church in Decatur, AL with Father Mike Gallegos and Deacon Javier Ramirez officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. He will lie in state 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday from 2:00 – 3:00PM. Visitation will be at the Peck Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM.

He was born on September 20, 2006 in Morgan County to Arael Gonzalez-Velazquez and Elfega Arroyo-Castaneda. He passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

Wenceslao was a 2025 Hartselle High School graduate and worked for Wire Grass Road Assistance. He wanted to continue his education and go back to school for welding. He loved duck hunting and was a goofball who always had some jokes to tell. He was really growing into his faith and attended Mass and Holy Hour at church every Sunday. He wanted to one day own a Ranch in the middle of nowhere with cows and horses.

Father- Arael Gonzalez-Velazquez (Laura)

Brother- Ismael Arroyo

Sister- Francisca Arroyo

Pallbearers will be Juan Rendon, Ricardo Arroyo, Cole Brown, Esteban Rendon, Pedro Arroyo, Ismael Arroyo, Ivan Bello, Andres Bello, Armando Velasquez, Ismael Gonzalez Arroyo, Giber Gonzalez, and Emmanuel Gonzalez
