A memorial service for Walter F. Simpson Jr. will be Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 6:00PM at Peck Funeral Home. Mr. Simpson, Jr., died on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born July 31, 1945, in Georgia, to Walter Franklin Simpson, Sr. and Mary Jordan Simpson.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He played softball for several years, enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, liked watching the Braves and had a great sense of humor. He was a member of Cornerstone Word of Life in Madison and was a United States Navy Veteran. He and his wife, Claudia were married for 56 years.

Preceding him in death were his parents - Walter and Mary Simpson, brothers - Billy Simpson, Frank Simpson, and sisters - Shirley Trammell, Gladys Simpson, Rosa Nell Roberts, Catherine Green, and Sharon Simpson.

Five Grandchildren - Tervah Ellis, Josie Ellis, Shiloh Ellis, Elena and Waylon Cowart
