Funeral service for Vonda L. Thublin, 79, will be Friday, April 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Justin Potter officiating and her grandson - Carson Blankenship will say a few words. Peck Funeral Home will be directing.    Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be Friday, April 10, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Thublin passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Decatur Health & Rehab Center.  She was born March 15, 1947, in Franklin County, Alabama, to Amos Harve Lewis and Eva Childers Lewis.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a wonderful caregiver for her husband, her mother and her brother, before their passings.

She was the Owner of the Old Town Antique Mall for 6 years, and was the Office Manager for Charter Retreat Hospital, prior to her retirement.  She loved her four grandsons and enjoyed being outside working in her yard.

Preceding her in death were her husband- Marcus F. Thublin, Jr., her parents, a sister- Marilyn Gray, and a brother- William Lewis.

Survivors include

Son - Bobby Smith (Elizabeth),

Daughter - Vicki Blankenship (Tommy),

Four Grandchildren - Ryland Blankenship (Caroline),
Carson Blankenship,
Liam Smith, and
Bennett Smith.

Pallbearers will be Ryland Blankenship, Carson Blankenship, Liam Smith and Bennett Smith.
