Obituary

Funeral service for Virgil Benjamin St. John, 66, will be Friday, March 20, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Mulga Baptist Church with Bro. Crantford Hicks and Bro. Allan Cunningham officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Freewill Cemetery of Quinton, AL.  Visitation will be Friday, March 20, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Mulga Baptist Church.

Mr. St. John passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Baptist Medical Center-Princeton.  He was born January 13, 1960, in Jefferson County, to Benjamin St. John and Vader Crouse St. John.

He was employed by R & L Carriers, as a Truck Driver, prior to his passing.  He was a wonderful husband, father, and brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother- Ricky Allen.

Survivors include

Wife - Virginia Vaughn St. John,

Sons- Joshua St. John (Macy), and
William Justin St. John (Kandies),

Daughter - Jennie Smith,

Brother - Jerry St. John,

Sisters- Leona Wrey,
Helen Garrison,
Shirley Hurley,
Bennie Sue Hatcher, and
Viola Brown,

Eight Grandchildren - Ayana Jeter,
Grace Parker,
Tyler Anderson St. John,
Balin St. John,
Dixie Grantham,
Mason Grantham,
Blaize St. John, and
Bricen St. John.

Pallbearers will be Adam Vaughn, Michael Green, Balin St. John, B.J. Verwyst, Robert Ferguson, Eric St. John, Joshua St. John, and Justin St. John.
