A Memorial Service for Vickie Blankenship Ware, 64, of Decatur, will be Monday, May 11, 2026, at Peck Funeral Home Chapel at 6:00 PM with Peck Funeral Home directing. A Visitation will be held on Monday before the service from 5:00 - 6:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ware passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born in Morgan County, on August 27, 1961, to Vaughn and Geneva Blankenship.

Vickie was a manager at J. T.'s Package Store prior to her retirement. She was loved by everyone and had a big heart. Her grandkids were her world. She loved to travel and liked to party, and also enjoyed Auburn football, sunflowers and roses. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Grandkids- Braydon and Alyssa

Niece- Ashley Jackson (Willie)
