Obituary

A visitation for Mr. Vandel Hall will be Monday, December 22, 2025, at Peck Funeral Home from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with the funeral service in the chapel at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Brother Charlie Brown will be officiating and Peck Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Mr. Hall passed away Friday, December 19, 2025, at his residence in Eva surrounded by his loving family at the age of 74. He was born to Homer Holace and Maggilean Emmer Reeves Hall on January 30, 1951 in Jefferson County, Alabama. He was of the Baptist Faith and served in the US Army for 7 years, 1971-1978. He retired from NASA after 40 years as a machinist/welder. Vandel was an avid hunter but especially loved deer season.

Vandel was proceeded in death by his parents and his brother, Levoid Hall. He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Hall; son, Gary white, Jr.; daughters, Cassandra Banks, Shelby Hall, Ashley Tatum; brothers, Lenith Hall, Sherlon Hall,, Brendel Hall; grandchildren, Katlyn Alexander, Briyana Burgess, Andre Burgess, Grayson Williams, Bailey Williams, and Reyna White. Pallbearers will be Gary White, Cedric Banks, Andre white, Brandon Hall.
