Tony Anthony Parker, of Hartselle, passed away on September 18, 2026, at Hartselle Health Park. He was born on June 6, 1958, in Lawrence County, Alabama. to R. C. Parker and Velma Christine LouAllen Parker.
Tony was a man of deep faith, steady service, and wholehearted devotion to the people he loved. A Lifetime Member of Hartselle Church of Christ, he served for many years as a deacon and gave generously of his time and heart to the work of the church. He was involved in the Jail and Prison Ministry and served as head of Church Security. His life reflected a sincere love for the Lord, and those who knew him will remember the strength of his witness and the care he showed to others. Among the accomplishments held closest to his heart were the lives he helped lead to the Lord.
He also embraced life’s simple and joyful pursuits. Tony was an avid golfer and a member of his beloved Atlas Golf Tour with local churches. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed hunting, and was an accomplished archer. He also found great happiness in coaching archery and ball, sharing his knowledge, encouragement, and enthusiasm with others. Through these interests, he built friendships, offered guidance, and created many lasting memories.
Above all, Tony loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Parker, with whom he shared his life in a bond of love and devotion. He is also survived by his sons, Adam Parker and Jordan Parker. He leaves behind his brothers, Ronnie Parker and his wife Brenda, Tim Parker, and Scott Parker; and his sister, Rhonda Hargett and her husband Wayne. He was a proud grandfather to Landon Parker, Carmen Parker, Norah Blake Parker, and Anna Scout Parker. Each of them was part of the family he cherished so deeply, and his love for them was evident in the way he lived every day.
Those serving as pallbearers are Keith Higgenbotham, Jeff Harris, Ben Hughes, Brad Shaneyfelt, and Buddy Owens.
Visitation will be held on September 21, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Hartselle Church of Christ, 700 Sparkman St. SW, Hartselle, Alabama 35640. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Hartselle Church of Christ, 700 Sparkman Street Southwest, Hartselle, Alabama 35640.
Tony Parker will be remembered for his faith, his service, his love of family, and the kindness and conviction with which he lived. His memory will remain a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
