A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Tom Free, 74, will be Sunday, June 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Forest Hill Cemetery with Bro. Fred Childs and Bro. Kevin Free officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No visitation is scheduled.

Mr. Free died on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at his residence.  He was born April 1, 1952, in Morgan County, to Calvin Jr. Free and Viney Elizabeth Lawrimore Free.

He was employed as a Mechanic, for Neely Coble Company, prior to his retirement. He loved to travel with his best friend, Jackie Bowman. He truly loved his family, fishing, and playing music, and also enjoyed a good plate of food and loved eating.

Preceding him in death were his wife: Lynn Peebles Free, his son: Steven Free, his parents, and brothers: Glenn, Charles and Dinky Free.

Survivors include

Sons - Michael Free (Gena)
Kevin Free (Felecia),

Sister - Deborah Childs (Fred),

Six Grandchildren - Amber, Bryanna, Cody, Casey, Zac, and Emma,

Seven Great Grandchildren,

Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
