A Memorial Funeral service for Terry Gene Carden Weaver, 81, will be Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 6:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tom Campbell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday, September 24, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Weaver passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at her residence. She was born March 22, 1945, in Morgan County to Raymond Eugene Carden and Pamelia Johnson Terry, who preceded her in death.

Terry Weaver was a graduate of Decatur High School and Athens State College. Married to Roy Weaver, she traveled the world as a U.S. Navy wife and mother. After retirement, they returned to Hartselle, Alabama, where they have lived until her passing. Having gotten a taste for travel, it remained one of her passions, and she made it to all 50 states and many other countries around the world. While living in California for a time, she was a teacher for the California School Systems.

Survivors include

Husband - Roy Weaver,

Daughters - Heather Roden (Greg), and

Amber Pendleton (Brian),

and four Grandchildren - Carden Phillips (Josh), Hayden Roden, Delaney Emmons and Nicholas Pendleton.
