Steve McCarley

Funeral service for Steve McCarley, 59, will be Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Brandon Pylant officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, October 16, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. McCarley died on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at his residence. He was born January 18, 1967, in Morgan County, to James McCarley and Kay Anders McCarley.

Steve was an amazing, funny man, and an exceptional father and grandfather. He loved the Lord and enjoyed singing. He often spoke in movie and book quotes, and in song lyrics. He was a beloved friend and a gentle giant. He was formerly employed by Blockbuster, as a retail manager.

Preceding him in death were his parents and two grandchildren- Steven Isaiah Drinkard and Abraham Jacob Drinkard.

Son - Christian McCarley (Bre),

Daughter - Kayla McCarley,

Brother - Mike McCarley (Robyn),

Brother-in-law - Marvin Latham,

Aunts- Sue McCarley,

Vicky Miller (Jerry), and

Marie Odom,

Three Grandchildren and Five Nieces.
