Funeral service for Stanton Stephenson, 85, will be Friday, July 25, 2025 at 6:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Rich Thompson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, July 25, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. Stephenson passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at his residence.  He was born April 10, 1940, in Lawrence County to Prentis Oswald Stephenson and Opal Harris Stephenson, who preceded him in death.

He was employed by Wholesome Bread/ Pony Express and was self employed as bakery route salesman, prior to his retirement. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who loved music and enjoyed being an "Elvis" impersonator. He loved to sell and trade at Lacon Trade-Day, where he sold cookies, cakes, and breads. He was a long-time member of the Church of Christ.
