Mrs. Socorro Reyes, 89, of Decatur, Alabama, passed away peacefully at her residence on September 5, 2026.

Mrs. Reyes was born on May 13, 1937, in Mexico to Guadalupe Noyla and Rosa Moreno. She was a devoted homemaker who found great joy in caring for her family and making a loving home for those around her.

Mrs. Reyes had many passions throughout her life. She loved gardening and cooking, and she especially enjoyed traveling with her late husband, Felix Reyes. She also took great pride in her knitting and seamstress work, creating many cherished handmade items for her family and loved ones.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons, Daniel Reyes, Ruben Reyes, Raul Reyes, and Sergio Reyes; daughters, Maria Morgan and Flora Bullard; and 15 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Felix Reyes.
