Obituary

Funeral service for Shirley Hale Hicks, 78, will be Monday, May 19, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Jean Parsons and Pastor Danny Garrison officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery (Cullman County). Visitation will be Monday, May 19, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hicks died on Monday, May 12, 2025 at University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born January 16, 1947, in Cullman County, to Titus Hale and Aleatha Goodwin Hale.

She was a Project Manager for the Redstone Arsenal, prior to her retirement. She was a member of Christ Fellowship Church, loved crafts, and was a very good story writer. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren.

Preceding in death by her parents, brothers- David Hale and Paul Hale, and a grandson, Malachi Karr.

Survivors include:

Husband - Roger Norman Hicks,

Son - Rendell Drummond (Julie),

Brothers - Myron O'Neil Hale (Verna) and
James Hale (Mary Jo)

Seven Grandchildren

Seven Great Grandchildren

Pallbearers will be Brett Hale, Trent Standridge, Kody Smith, Colton Drummond, Jimmy Luncsford, and Bradley George.
