Funeral service for Shirley Mayes Bonds, 67, will be Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Conley officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.    Burial will be in West Point Cemetery, in Somerville.  Visitation will be Saturday, December 27, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bonds passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Huntsville Hospital.  She was born February 26, 1958, in Morgan County,  to George B. Henry and Imogene West Henry.

She was employed in Management for KFC and Williams Travel Center prior to her passing. She was a caring wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by those that knew and loved her.

Preceding her in death were her husband- Tony Bonds, her parents, a brother- George D. "Barney" Henry and a sister- Brenda Thurman.

Son - Trint Mayes (Trista),

Brother - Robin Yancey (Elizabeth),

Sister - Sharon Ridge (Keith),

Seven Grandchildren,

Four Great Grandchildren,
