Funeral service for Shaquita Roshanda Colvin Thompson, 46, will be Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Bro. Spencer Bell, Rev. Christopher Riley, and Pastor Billy Young, officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 28, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Thompson passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Cullman Regional Medical Ctr-Hartselle Health Park FED. She was born September 23, 1978, in Mississippi, to John Smith and Gracie Mae Colvin.

She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. Shaquita loved music and dancing, and adored her family, especially her grandson. She was a very loving and loyal person and will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Her mother preceded her in death.
