Funeral service for SFC (Ret.) Anthony Craig Bonds, 66, will be Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in West Point Cemetery in Somerville. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Bonds passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born March 16, 1959, in Etowah County, to J.D. Bonds and Iva Ovell Heaton Bonds.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army, where he served as a Military Mechanic, prior to his retirement. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
Preceding him in death were his parents, and a brother- Michael Bonds.
Survivors include
Wife - Shirley Henry Bonds,
Sons- Jeremy Trent Mayes (Trista), Damon Bartlett (Tracy), and
Heath Bartlett (Connie)
Daughters - Latosha Brooke Moore (Jahmeel), and
Donna Bartlett,
Brother - Jerry Bonds (Karen),
Sisters- Cynthia Schad (Royce),
Mona Hill,
Pam Ashley (Michael),
Rence Bray (Mick),
Carol Morrow (Alan), and
Debra Moss (George),
Thirteen Grandchildren and
Three Great Grandchildren
Pallbearers will be members of the Military.
