Sandra Nelson Wiley, 80, passed away on July 9, 2026, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born December 20, 1945 in Morgan County to Wayne Nelson and Tina Osborn Nelson.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home, with Bo Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral directing. A visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Herring Cemetery.

Sandra was employed for many years in food service at Kroger as a Deli Clerk and Cake Decorator. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, watching tv, playing bingo, and making flower arrangements for many graves on decoration each year. She was also a care giver over the last few years to several people.

She is proceeded in death by her husband- Bobby Wiley, her parents, a sister- Anne, a brother- Mark, and brother-in-law- Don Elsea.

Survivors include:

Nephew- Dr. Steve Boger (Jan) of Trussville, AL.

Nieces- Teresa McDonald of Trussville, AL. and Sherri Hopkins of Jacksonville, FL.

A host of Grandnephews and Grandnieces, cousins, and friends

She had six stepchildren- Bobby Joe, Linda, Steve, Dale, David, and Jim. A lot of step-grandchildren and great grandchildren

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
