Funeral service for Sandra Wilson Carter, 76, of Hartselle, will be Monday, December 29, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Houston Baptist Church in Houston, Alabama with Phillip Hines and Bro. Wally Blackman officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. A joint graveside, with her husband Richard "Dick" Carter, will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the church.

Mrs. Carter died on December 27, 2025, at her residence. She was born on August 11, 1949, to Percy E. Wilson and Mable Daniel Wilson. Sandra worked as an accountant prior her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard "Dick" Carter; a grandson, Carter Gallet; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald Wilson and Vera; and a sister, Jane Wilson.

Survivors include:

Two Daughters- Lysa Carter and Brandi Newman (Jeff)

Son - Clay Carter (Starr)

Three Granddaughters - Breanna Wiggonton (Max), Alysa "Roo" Newman and Richlyn "Roo" Carter
