Funeral service for Ronny Bookout, 56, will be Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 7:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kirk Bookout and Bro. Mike Almack officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Bookout died on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Decatur Morgan Hospital.  He was born July 5, 1969, in Anderson, Indiana to Larry and Diana Broshar Bookout.

Ronny was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin who was admired for his kind and caring personality.  He will be greatly missed.  He was devoted to his career and also enjoyed going to drag strip racing his Camaro.  He also enjoyed being a part of Bookout Racing, of which his mother is the driver.  He passed peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. Mr. Bookout graduated from Madison Heights High School in Anderson, Indiana.
