Ricky Joe Russell, 72, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.  He was born December 28, 1953, in Morgan County,  to Bobby Joe Russell and Yvonne Ward Russell.

Ricky was self employed as a Carpenter, prior to his passing. He loved to work on cars and watch Alabama Football.

Survivors include his Son - Chris Russell.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother- Tony Russell.
