A Memorial Funeral service for Ricky Lynn "Ox" Hood, 66, will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Peck Funeral Home Chapel. No visitation is scheduled.

Mr. Hood passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026, at his residence.  He was born August 25, 1959, in Illinois, to Raymond Lee Hood and Mary Lou Holliday Hood.

He was employed by Dillard McLemore, building furniture. He was a wonderful father and brother that will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

Preceding him in death were his wife, his parents, a sister- Mary Hood, and brothers- Andrew, Joey, and Scottie "Rambo" Hood.
