Funeral service for Rebecca Ann Waits Maples, 60, will be Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bobby Newman officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Ms. Maples died on Monday, April 20, 2026, at her residence.  She was born July 9, 1965, in Morgan County, to James Lamar Waits and Barbara A. Dugger Waits.

Rebecca was employed by SCS as a materials planner, prior to her passing. She was a loving mother, daughter and sister, who worked a lot, loved music, and enjoyed going to concerts with her daughter. She also like riding horses and going fishing.  Her father preceded her in death.

Daughter - Lyrix Maples,

Mother - Barbara A. Dugger Waits,

Brother - Toney Waits,

Nephew - Justin Waits,

and a large loving family who will miss her very much.
