A Graveside Funeral service and Interment  for Randall Ward, 81, will be Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 3:30 PM at Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Geoff Halbrooks officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be Wednesday, August 5, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. Ward passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at UAB Hospital.  He was born February 24, 1945, in Morgan County,  to Hobson Ward, Jr. and Marie Lynch Ward, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Ward was the owner and operator of Ward Plumbing for many years. He was a licensed inspector for plumbers and pipefitters and was retired from employment with the State of Alabama. Randall was a member of the Local Union 377 of the Plumbers and Steamfitters for 52 years and he was a homebuilder. He also was a Mason and a member of the Nunn-Oden Lodge.

He enjoyed restoring classic cars and attending car shows just about anywhere. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He loved traveling out West, to the beach, and to the mountains.

Wife - Dorothy "Dot" Carter Ward,

Sons - Kenneth Ward (Melody) and
John Ward (Paula),

Daughters - Nikki Ward (Brock) and
Janet Preuit (Tina),

Sister - Janice Rollins (Danny),

Nine Grandchildren and
Four Great Grandchildren

Pallbearers will be Randy Ward, Gentry Hellums, Annabelle Vest, Tina Preuit, Jeff Smithson, and George Sandlin.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Danny Rollins, Billy Tillman, Olivia Vest and Presley Vest.
