A Graveside Funeral service for Rachel Smith, 78, will be Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 4:00 PM at Cook Cemetery with Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Cook Cemetery. No public Visitation is scheduled.

Mrs. Smith died on Monday, May 19, 2025 at Hospice Family Care surrounded by her family. She was born June 25, 1946, in Cullman County, to Marshall A. Harris and Annie Phillips Harris.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved baking, making cakes, working in and with her flowers, and loved her family with all of her heart. Preceding her in death were her parents and a son- Stephen Smith.

Survivors include

Husband - Stanley Smith,

Sons- Earl Smith and
Jason Smith (Tracey)

Four Grandchildren- Corey Smith, Moni Waite, Allie Smith, and Bo Smith,

Two Great Grandchildren- Velle Shelton and Grayson Smith.

Pallbearers will be Earl Smith, Jason Smith, Corey Smith, Bo Smith, Brian Fowler, and Marcus Woodall.
