Peggy A. Montgomery, 76, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Huntsville Hospital - Hospice Family Care. She was born February 16, 1949, in Franklin County, to Gordan Allen Wells and Ann Elizabeth Kent Wells.

Peggy was a Baptist and a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church in Priceville, AL. She was an Elementary School Teacher, for the Orange County Board of Education in Florida, prior to her retirement. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and was married to the love of her life, Rush Montgomery for over 45 years.

She was preceded in death by her daughter; Jennifer Jo Head and her parents.

Survivors include;

her Husband - Rush Franklin Montgomery, Jr.

Three Sisters- Freida Ellison
Becky Wells and
Kay Taylor (Cousin)

Six Grandchildren

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date by her family. The Service date and time are to be determined.
