Funeral service for Peggy Jackson Kent, 79, will be Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Cotaco Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Weigert officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Cotaco Methodist Church.

Mrs. Kent passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Huntsville Hospital.  She was born December 12, 1945, in Morgan County,  to James Neal Jackson, Jr. and Iris Inez Johnson Jackson. Mrs. Kent was preceded in death by her parents and sister Diane Badwell.

She was a lifelong member of the Cotaco Methodist Church and a big supporter of the St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Mrs. Kent was the Co-Owner of Home Pest Control and retired after 56 years of service. She enjoyed gardening and being around people and working everyday with her customers and employees.

her Husband of 62 years - Jimmy Kent,

Daughter - Tracy Kent,

Sister - Nealia Dunaway (Ted),

Grandchildren -  Maclain Eidson and Baylee Barnes (Baxter),

Great Grandchildren -  Marlee Eidson and Quinn Barnes, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Maclain Eidson, Jacob Yarbrough, Baxter Barnes, Ted Dunaway, Kenneth Duke, and Ronald Gullion.
