Funeral service for Pat Hargett, 82, will be Sunday, August 10, 2025 at 1:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael James officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.    Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday, August 10, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hargett died on Friday, August 8, 2025 at Columbia Cottage.  She was born October 4, 1942, in Morgan County,  to Owen G. Lambert and Esther James Lambert.  Bob and Pat Hargett owned and operated Hargett Music Center in Hartselle for more than 30 years, opening in 1966. It remained a family operated business, as their daughter,  Gina Hargett Tedford took over at their retirement.

Mrs. Hargett  was a true lady, a Christian woman, and a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was the Drum Majorette at her Alma Mater, Morgan County High School. She attended Neel Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death were her husband: Bob Hargett, a brother- Charles Lambert, and a sister- Barbara Sparkman.

Survivors include-

her Daughter - Gina Hargett Tedford, and

Three Grandchildren - Kimberly Kay Weaver, John Tedford and Jessica Tedford.
