Funeral service for Nick Ward, 39, will be Friday, October 31, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Legg and Glyndon Sparkman officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel  Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday, October 31, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home

Mr. Ward passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at his residence.  He was born January 31, 1986, in Morgan County,  to Timothy Wayne Ward and Karen Curtis Segars.

Nick was a Hartselle High School graduate of the Class of 2005. He was a Christian, loved his family and being a father was his pride and joy. Nick was a Florida Gators fan, and an avid basketball and football enthusiast. He loved nature and being outdoors, and was a baseball card collector.  He was a self employed owner and operator of his Landscaping business, prior to his passing.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents - Hack Ward, Peggy Hormel and Glin Curtis.

Mother and Step-father- Karen Curtis Segars (Tim),

Father - Tim W. Ward,

Son - Landen "Jase" Morgan,

Daughter - Oaklynn Ward (Ryan- mother to Oaklynn),

Sisters - Briley Vinson (Caleb),
Kinley Tanner, and
Caitlin Hallmark,

Grandmother - Linda Curtis,

Pallbearers will be Matt Juric, Caleb Vinson, Cameron Mims, Randy Curtis, Ricky Shelton, and Tim Segars.
