Mike Nixon, 63,  passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.  He was born June 21, 1962, in North Carolina,  to William Lloyd Nixon and Joyce Elizabeth Caroon Nixon, who preceded him in death.

He was employed by Nixon Construction and Roofing, prior to his passing. He was well known and loved in the roofing and construction industry for the Cullman, Decatur, Hartselle, and Priceville areas and he mentored a lot of people. He loved to cook, loved his family, especially his grandkids and enjoyed taking vacations with them. He enjoyed deep-sea fishing and off shore fishing, and was a commercial fisherman for a time.  He loved the outer banks of Wanchese, NC.

Daughters - BreAnna Nixon and
Amber McClanhan,

Brother - Kerry Nixon,

Grandchildren - Kendall Younger, Braydon Younger, and Delilah McSpadden.
