Funeral service for Michael Anthony Johnson, 61, will be Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Nathan Green officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.    Burial will be in Bell Springs Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home

Mr.  Johnson was born June 24, 1964, in South Alabama to Ellis James Johnson and Helen Elizabeth Foote Johnson. He passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026, at his Decatur-Morgan Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Brian Anthony Johnson.

Michael retired after 14 years from Valley Rubber.  He enjoyed cooking, fishing, and working on vehicles.  Michael was a wonderful Husband, Father and a great man that would do anything to help anyone who needed it.

his Wife of 44 years - Bonnie McCarley Johnson,

Son - Jason Agner (Kelly),

Sister - Teresa Hills,

Grandchildren - Jonathan Agner (Kaitlyn) and Erica Bice (Dalton),

Great Grandchildren - Ethan Agner, Jaxson Agner, Rowen Bice, Emery Bice, and Langston Bice.

Pallbearers will be Justin Strickland, Dustin Young, Max Young, Wayne Sims, and Mike Reeves.
