Melvin Archie Powell, Jr. 50,  passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026 at his residence.  He was born  December 16, 1975, in Texas,  to Melvin Archie Powell, Sr. and Linda Jean Anderson Steen.

Melvin was a very loving, big hearted person.  He would not hestitate to help anyone. He was an absolutely amazing diesel mechanic and could fix anything he put his hands to. He was so loved by his family, he will truly be missed.

Preceding him  in death were his mother and a sister- Karen Evans.

Virginia Barfield.

and multiple nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
