Funeral service for Melanie Rose Thompson Adams, 61, will be Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randy Ashley officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Adams passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Cullman Regional Medical Center.  She was born July 23, 1964, in Morgan County, to Cecil Lynn Thompson and Zana Rose Bailey Thompson.

Melanie was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and teacher. She was a very kind lady, a strong fighter and a Godly woman, who put everyone before herself. She was a life-time member of Lebanon Baptist Church, where she served as VBS and Awana director, for many years. She battled cancer with a positive attitude and unwavering faith in her Lord and Saviour.

She loved her family more than anything and enjoyed watching her Auburn Tigers play football. She was employed by the Morgan County School System, as a teacher, for Falkville Elementary School, for 17 years, prior to her retirement .

Luke Mosteller (Amber),

Three Nieces - Chloe Eddy,
Maria Hurd, and
Ashley Adams.

Six Great Nephews - Grayson,
Wyatt,
Aiden,
Asa,
Sol, and
Gus.

Two Great Nieces - Scarlett and
Zoey.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Thompson, Walker Thompson, Luke Mosteller, Kevin Arnold, Josh Thompson, and Tyler Reeves.
