Funeral Service for Mavis Hale, 99 of Collierville, TN will be Monday, March 10, 2025 at 1:00PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Sutton officiating with burial in Hartselle City Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Monday from 12:00PM-1:00PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Hale was born September 15, 1925 in Cullman, AL to Oliver Fredricks Burks and Pearl Irene Tilley Burks. She passed away Friday March 7, 2025 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Marvin Hale, 2 Brothers, Haden Burks and Wife, Martha. Frank Burks and wife Bonnie. Great Granddaughter, Lyla Long. Mavis was a Member of Somerville Road Church of Christ for 70 Years. She was very active in Church and her Community. She was a devout Christian who loved her Lord. She also loved to read.
