A memorial service for Matthew Birdwell, 33, of Decatur, will be Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 1:00PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Mr. Birdwell was born August 3, 1991 at Huntsville Hospital to Greg and Fran Birdwell. He passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Decatur Morgan Hospital surrounded by loving friends and family.

Matthew Birdwell was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He loved working on cars, playing video games, and he was completely devoted to his family. Mr. Birdwell adored his cousin Noah Birdwell and loved spending time with family. Matthew was preceded in death by his brother Zackery Jacob Birdwell.
