Mary Kathryne Landers O'Barr, 76, passed away April 5, 2026, in her home. She was born September 30, 1949. A Celebration of Life will be held by her family on April 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at Revive Church in Decatur with Pastor Adrian Mostella officiating. Peck Funeral Home assisted the family.

She was known by many as momma. She worked for over twenty years at Wal-Mart and loved her friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother, Kathryne Louise Papenburg Landers, brother-in-law, Ewell K. Gregg Jr, (Buddy), and her grandson, Jeremy Williams.

She leaves behind her dear sister-Carol Gregg, Son-Christopher O'Barr (Tracy), daughter-Marie O'Barr Peplinski (Leo), Niece-Donna Gregg (Angi), her grandchildren-Michael O'Barr Speegle (Ashlyn), Katie Speegle Griffin (Chadez), Tyler Daugherty , Alexa Pratt, Jake Daugherty, Ivalee O'Barr, Jesse O'Barr, Rheanna O'Barr, Alex Peplinski (Avion), Connor Peplinski, Harry Peplinski, and her precious great grandchildren - Abigail Speegle, Anniston "Annie" Griffin, Lily Grace O'Barr, and Miles Peplinski.
