Mary Kay Hamilton

Funeral Service for Mary Kay Hamilton, 69, of Decatur, AL will be at 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at Peck Funeral Home with Bro. Jeremy Nason officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Tuesday. Burial will be at Forest Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family would like to extend an invite to all their friends to join them directly after the Funeral Service at Tunsel Road Baptist Church in Hartselle for a meal and fellowship.

Mrs. Hamilton passed away on October 23, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born August 8, 1957 to Donald and Dorothy Rogers.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, and especially spoiling her niece and nephew, along with her great nephews. She was a very giving person and was always willing to help anyone. Before her husband Dan passed away, they enjoyed going to car shows and music. She always enjoyed listening to him play the guitar.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Dan Hamilton, and her parents.

Survivors include:

Sister- Donna Woods

Nephew- Adam Woods (Kristy)

Niece- Valerie Scott (Jacob)

4 Great Nephews- Gabriel, David, Elijah, and Andrew

Her Great Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
