Funeral Service for Mary "Libby" Elizabeth Mason, 69 of Hartselle will be Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 11:00AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Brad Roath officiating.  Burial will be in Shoal Creek Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 9:00AM-11:00AM at the funeral home.

Libby was born to Ernest and Julia Byford in Hartselle, Alabama where she attended Morgan County High School before studying Nursing at Calhoun.  She has served as a nurse for the community since 1978 up until her retirement.  She was a devout Christian, enjoyed Bible Studies, spending time with the love of her life and her family.

Libby passed away surrounded by her family and loved ones on March 5, 2026.  She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Julia and her sister Rubye.  She is survived by her Husband Rondel "Ronnie" Mason, Daughter Amanda Bowling (James, Daughter Lori Arrington (Chris), and Son Chris Mason (Terrie), her eight grandchildren and her three great-grandchildren.  Brother Joe Byford (Ramona) and Ray Byford (Addy)
