A Memorial Service for Lois E. Waddell, 61, will be Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 3:00 PM, at Decatur Christian Fellowship with Ben Stanley officiating.

Mrs. Waddell died on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.  She was born September 27, 1964, to William Curwin Belmont and Shirely Marie Brewer.  She was employed by Dollar General, as the Lead Key Holder and Cashier, prior to her passing.  She loved to work, enjoyed helping people, going to church and serving the Lord.  She was a wonderful wife, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Preceding her in death were  her parents, and a sister-in-law: Lisa Belmont.

Survivors include

Husband - Jerry Dycus

Son - Ricky Waddell

Three Daughters - Ann Waddell,  Whitney Waddell and Brittney Waddell

Brother - William Belmont, Jr.

Two Sisters - Bonnie Anderson and Evelen Belmont

Ten Grandchildren
One Great Grandchild
