Linda  Sanford, 66, died on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Decatur Morgan Hospital.  She was born January 6, 1959, in New Jersey,  to Gene Arthurs Barrows, Sr. and Joy Anna Paul McElfresh.

She was employed by Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, Texas, as a Registered Nurse, prior to her retirement.   She worked in the Trauma unit, ICU and CCU units and was a trained Paramedic. She was very compassionate in times of need, was an outgoing and outspoken person.  Linda loved the beach, loved to be free and was a "60's flower child". Her favorite poem was "Footprints in the Sand".

Preceding her in death were her parents, and a brother- Gene Barrows, Jr.

Survivors include

Son - Shawn Sanford,

Daughter - Brittany Sanford,

and Three Brothers- Joey Barrows, Ritchie Barrow, and Paul Barrows.
