Linda "Gail" Mason, 78 passed away peacefully in her home on February 7, 2026, Surrounded by the love that defined her life.  She was a devoted Christian woman who lived her faith through Compassion, Service, and unwavering love for others.  Above all else, she cherished being a wife, mother, and grandmother.  For many years she found joy in her work as a school lunch lady at Hartselle High School, where she took pride in nourishing generations of children.  During her illness, she was lovingly cared for by her husband of 61 years, whose constant presence, strength, and care were the true testament to their deep and enduring bond.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Lisa; Son-in-law, Darryl; son, Jeff; and great-granddaughter  MacKenzie.

She is survived by her loving Husband, Doug; Son, Tony; daughter-in-law , Susan; daughter, Crystal; Son-in-law, Charlie; Grandchildren, Justin, Hailey, Savannah, Noah, Dylan, Richie (Delaney), and Tina (Brendan).

Great-Grandchildren-Bentley, Darryl, Corrin, Kenneth, Coby, Christian, Skylar, Julienne, Kaylano, and MaKayla.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 1:30PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dustin Warren and Bro. Jeremy Wallace officiating.  Burial will be  in New Center Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:30AM-1:30PM at the funeral home.
